The Riviera, Orchestrated

From a trackside yacht at the Monaco Grand Prix to a table for two above the sea at Èze — one legendary coastline, entirely at your command.

One Coastline, Entirely Yours

Nowhere else does a hundred kilometres of coast hold so much of the world’s glamour. Between the Casino square of Monte-Carlo and the pines of Pampelonne lie the villas, terraces, harbours and hilltop villages where the twentieth century invented modern luxury — and where most doors still open only to the right knock.

We are that knock. For a congress at the Grimaldi Forum, a gala above the bay, a Grand Prix weekend on the water, a wedding at Èze or a single perfect day in Saint-Paul-de-Vence — one team, one standard, absolute discretion.

Programmes for Business Groups

For companies bringing groups to the Riviera — from a leadership team of twelve to a sales force of six hundred — we build complete programmes under one accountable team, one budget and one point of contact. The framework below is a starting point; every element is tailored, and pricing is confirmed on proposal.

Sustainable Events

Sustainable Events & Responsible Programmes

The Riviera rewards those who protect it, and we build programmes with genuine environmental care: venues with real green credentials, rail arrivals where they serve you, an electric vehicle fleet and electric boats on the water, and menus sourced from Provençal farms and the morning’s catch — with the event’s full footprint measured and offset on request, so your programme stands up to any board or stakeholder review.

Responsibility with us is also an experience. We design give-back programmes with real impact — beach and Posidonia seagrass clean-ups guided by marine biologists, conservation mornings in the hinterland, and partnerships with local foundations — each delivered to gala standard, and each returned to you with a clear report of what your group achieved.

Tell us the group, the objective and the dates. We return a complete proposal within five working days.

Tourism & Private Journeys

The Riviera, Privately

Beyond the festivals and the harbours lies the coast itself — and its hinterland of perched villages, vineyards and lavender. We design private journeys by car, by yacht and by helicopter, each one exclusive, unhurried and entirely yours. Every journey below is chauffeured, privately guided and shaped around you.

The Principality

Monaco & Monte-Carlo, Privately

The world’s most concentrated square mile of glamour, opened properly. With a private guide you move from the Prince’s Palace and the old town on its rock to the legendary Casino square, the Formula 1 corners you have watched a hundred times, and the harbour where the great yachts lie — with lunch on a terrace above the Mediterranean and, come evening, entry arranged to rooms most visitors never see. Monaco in a day, or Monaco in depth: both are ours to give.

The Grand Journey

The Grand Riviera Tour

The definitive private tour of the Côte d’Azur, composed over several days. Nice and its old town, Monaco and the corniches, Cannes and the Croisette, Saint-Tropez and the vineyards behind it, with the perched villages and the artists’ museums threaded between — by private chauffeur, by yacht and, where the coast is at its most dramatic, by helicopter. The finest hotels and tables are secured along the way; the pace is entirely yours.

Cinema’s Riviera

Cannes & the Croisette

Cannes is a city built around one boulevard and one idea: that glamour deserves a stage. We walk you along the Croisette and up through the old quarter of Le Suquet, open the Palais des Festivals and its red-carpet steps for the photographs everyone wants, and finish with rosé on a private beach as the light softens. In festival season we arrange what festival season is for — access, screenings and the parties worth attending.

The Legend

Saint-Tropez & Pampelonne

The fishing village that became a legend, visited the right way — by sea. Arrive by yacht into the old port among the sails and the superyachts, walk the lanes Brigitte Bardot made famous, and settle into a reserved table at a Pampelonne beach club for the long, golden afternoon. In the evening, the harbour lights come on and Saint-Tropez becomes the theatre it was always meant to be.

The Three Corniches

Èze & the Corniche Drives

The most beautiful driving roads in Europe, taken in a classic open-top car or a chauffeured cabriolet. The three corniches stack above the sea between Nice and Monaco, and at their summit sits Èze — a medieval eagle’s nest of stone lanes and cactus gardens a thousand feet above the water. Lunch on the cliff, a private visit to the village parfumerie, and the drive home as the coast turns gold.

The Perfumer’s Art

Grasse — Create Your Own Perfume

Grasse has been the world’s perfume capital for three centuries, and its great houses open their doors to us. In a private atelier with a working perfumer — a “nose” — you compose your own fragrance from the essences of the surrounding fields, jasmine and rose and orange blossom, and leave with a bottle that exists for no one else on earth. In season, we add a private morning in the flower fields at harvest.

The Artists’ Riviera

Saint-Paul-de-Vence & the Painters’ Coast

The light of the Riviera changed the history of art, and this journey follows it: the ramparts and lanes of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a private visit to the Fondation Maeght among its Giacomettis and Mirós, Picasso’s castle studio in Antibes, and the chapels and museums of Matisse and Chagall above Nice. Led by an art historian, at a pace that lets the pictures breathe.

The Old Town

Old Nice & Market Gastronomy

Nice is the Riviera’s true city, and its old town is one of the great food quarters of the Mediterranean. With a private chef or guide you move through the Cours Saleya flower and produce market, taste socca and the small dishes the Niçois keep for themselves, and finish with a long lunch — or take the morning’s baskets to a villa kitchen and cook them together. The Riviera, eaten properly.

The Cap

Antibes, Juan-les-Pins & Cap d’Antibes

Between the old port of Antibes — home to some of the largest yachts afloat — and the jazz terraces of Juan-les-Pins curls the Cap d’Antibes, the most storied peninsula on the coast. We walk its coastal path between the great estates, visit the ramparts and the Picasso museum, and end with an aperitif at the water’s edge where the twentieth century’s most glamorous summers were spent.

The Vineyards

Provence Rosé & the Wine Estates

Behind the coast lies the vineyard country of Provence — the source of the world’s finest rosé and of serious reds the world knows less well. We open the cellar doors of celebrated and confidential estates alike for private tastings with the winemakers, a long lunch among the vines, and cases shipped home. For deeper cellars, our Maison du Vin journeys continue into Bandol and beyond.

Seasonal

Lavender Fields & the Verdon

For a few weeks each summer, the plateaux behind the coast turn violet. We take you into the lavender at first light — by car or by helicopter — when the fields of Valensole are silent and the scent lies over everything, then on to the turquoise gorge of the Verdon, Europe’s grand canyon, for lunch above the water. One of France’s great sights, timed and arranged privately.

The Islands

Lérins Islands & Porquerolles

Ten minutes off Cannes lie the Lérins islands, where Cistercian monks have made wine for nine centuries — we arrange a private tasting within the abbey walls, followed by a swim from the boat in water the colour of glass. Further west, the island of Porquerolles offers vineyards, pine-shaded lanes and beaches reached only by sea. The Riviera’s quietest luxuries, an anchor-drop away.

The Hinterland

Villages Perchés & Truffle Country

Above the coast, another Provence begins: the perched villages of Mougins, Tourrettes-sur-Loup and Gourdon, olive mills and pottery ateliers, and — in winter — the truffle markets and hunts of the high country, ending at a farmhouse table. Slow, fragrant and deeply French, this is the Riviera the yachts never see.

On the Water

Private Yacht Charters

The coast was designed to be seen from the sea. We charter day boats, sailing yachts and fully crewed superyachts out of Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Saint-Tropez — for a swim off the Esterel’s red rocks, lunch on the water, a crossing to the islands, or a week tracing the coast into Italy. Skipper, chef and hostess aboard; the itinerary written daily, by you.

From the Air

Helicopter Riviera

Seven minutes from Nice airport to Monaco — the most famous helicopter route in the world — is only the beginning. We arrange private transfers to every point on the coast and flightseeing circuits over the corniches, the Esterel and Saint-Tropez’s peninsula, with a landing for lunch in the lavender or above the sea. The Riviera from the air explains itself in a way no road can.

Beyond the Border

A Day in Italy — Menton to Portofino

The Riviera does not end at the border; it changes language. We compose Italian days from the lemon gardens of Menton to the markets of Ventimiglia and San Remo, and — by yacht or helicopter — the impossibly photogenic harbour of Portofino, with lunch above the boats. Two rivieras, one seamless day, passports rarely required and never rushed.

The Extravangarde Difference

One Team. Complete Discretion.

A single accountable director from first enquiry to final farewell; a 24/7 concierge; discreet security and close protection where required; seamless logistics from Nice airport to the furthest village perché; and absolute confidentiality. We accept a limited number of commissions each season to protect the standard of every one.

Whether it is a congress in Cannes, a Grand Prix weekend on the water, a wedding above the sea at Èze, or a single perfect day in the lavender — one message begins everything.
