Terms & Conditions

The terms governing our services and your use of this website. Last updated: January 2025.

1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Extravangarde Unique (registered in France) and clients who commission our services or use our website. By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to these terms. These terms are governed by French law.

2. Our Services

Extravangarde Unique provides destination wedding planning, corporate event management, private experience programming, and related services as described on this website. The precise scope of services for each commission is agreed in writing at the point of engagement. Services are delivered to the standard described on this website and in the commission agreement.

3. Commissioning Our Services

A commission begins when both parties have signed the commission agreement and the initial retainer payment has been received. We reserve the right to decline any commission without providing a reason. Commissions are personal to the named client and cannot be transferred to a third party without our written consent.

4. Fees and Payment

Our fees comprise a planning fee (agreed at the point of commission) and supplier costs (charged at cost with full transparency). The planning fee is payable in instalments as agreed in the commission agreement. All fees are quoted in Euros. Payments are due on the dates specified in the commission agreement. Late payment may result in suspension of planning activities.

5. Cancellation

Cancellation by the client must be made in writing. Cancellation charges apply as follows: more than 12 months before the event — 25% of the planning fee; 6–12 months before — 50% of the planning fee; 3–6 months before — 75% of the planning fee; less than 3 months before — 100% of the planning fee. Supplier cancellation charges are separate and governed by individual supplier contracts. We strongly recommend event cancellation insurance for all commissions.

6. Our Responsibilities

We take full responsibility for the management of our planning services as described in the commission agreement. We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or quality of independent suppliers, venues, or third parties, except where we have specifically warranted their performance. We carry full professional indemnity insurance.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all client information with complete confidentiality. We do not publish client names, event details, or photographs without explicit written permission. Clients agree to treat our supplier relationships, pricing structures, and business practices as confidential.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, design, and concepts — is the intellectual property of Extravangarde Unique. It may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without written permission.

9. Website Use
